WPL 2023 Opening Ceremony: Women’s Premier League (WPL) is all set to begin with a bang on March 4 with WPL’s grand opening ceremony. As per media reports, Bollywood star Kiara Advani and musician Shankar Mahadevan will perform at the event. DY Patil Stadium will host the WPL opening ceremony before the opening match of the WPL’s inaugural edition between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah recently unveiled WPL’s official tune. Additionally, Shankar Mahadevan is expected to perform and unveil the WPL anthem live at the event. Reportedly, Mahadevan wrote and composed the WPL official anthem, which will be made public before the WPL’s opening ceremony.
